Who runs this site
The site is run by the three people who keep this guide. Questions about data can be sent through the contact form.
What the form collects
The contact form asks for a name, an email address, a subject and a message. Nothing else is requested, and nothing is required beyond what you type into it.
Purpose and legal basis
Your message is used to answer you and, where it is a correction, to check and amend an entry. The basis is your consent when you send the form and our legitimate interest in keeping the guide accurate.
How long it is kept
Correspondence is kept while it is being dealt with and for a reasonable period afterwards, and is then deleted. Nothing is kept in order to build a profile of you.
Server logs
The hosting provider records ordinary access data such as an IP address, a request line and a user agent. These logs exist for security and for keeping the site running, and they are kept for a short period.
No analytics and no storage in your browser
There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising pixel and no third-party cookie on this site. The site stores nothing in your browser. The single script it loads opens and closes the navigation menu and does nothing else.
Hosting and processors
The site is served by a hosting provider acting as a processor under a written agreement. No data is sold, and none is passed to anyone for advertising.
Transfers abroad
If a processor is outside your country, transfers are covered by the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may ask for access to your data, for correction, for deletion, for restriction, for a copy in portable form, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Write through the contact form.
Complaints
You may complain to the data protection authority where you live, and you may do so without contacting us first.
